System Operation
The filled case is automatically indexed into the sealer where flight bars pick up the case and carry it through the sealing operation. As the case is moved into the sealer a static plow closes the leading major top flap and a rotor tucker kicks the trailing flap down. The case continues on past the hot melt glue applicators and into the static plows which plow the side flanges down prior to entering the compression area where the case is sealed and is then discharged.
